Meet Butch!

Butch, through no fault of his own, is sadly searching for a new home for the second time this year. With no foster offers, he’s currently staying at a boarding kennel. The kennel manager speaks highly of him, describing him as charming, well-mannered, and affectionate — always waiting eagerly at the door, tail wagging, ready for a little love. 

This handsome boy is a bundle of energy and joy!  Butch loves to run, play, and chase after his favorite toys — fetch is his absolute favorite game. After all that fun, he’s happy to settle down and enjoy some cuddle time with his favorite people.

Butch is friendly with other dogs but prefers to enjoy his meals solo. He'd thrive with an owner who's home often since extended time in a crate isn’t his thing — and really, who can blame him?  Cats, however, are a bit too tempting for him — he thinks they’re excellent for a game of chase.

He’s a smart cookie too! Butch already knows how to sit and give a friendly paw shake. He’s working on perfecting his manners with his trusty Easy Walk Harness and is learning to heel like a champ.

Butch would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can stretch his legs and chase his dreams. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and protected with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving companion to fill your home with laughter and tail wags, Butch is your guy!

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
