Ricky (yellow) and Bobby (black) are 2 sweet labby boys who are looking for a home together that is as awesome as they are. They are almost 3 years old (birthday is in May). Their mom was a Chocolate lab and their dad a Golden Retriever, they seem to have all the best traits of both of these great breeds.

Their human mom and dad got them as puppies, but have a family that is growing (3 kids under 5 years old) and no longer can give the furry boys the time and attention that they feel they deserve.

Ricky and Bobby have been raised around children. The family also takes walks together and they do well on leash. They are the unofficial greeters in their neighborhood and greet neighbors, passersby, and strangers (the photographer!) with happy wagging tails and a scratch my ears/rub my belly/be my friend look. Neighbors often bring them treats when they are outside in their fenced yard. They greet other dogs nicely, have not been around cats, but do enjoy a good bunny or squirrel chase, and do not appear to have a single mean bone in their beautiful 100 lb bodies.

Bobby seems to be the more forward of the 2, first to the fence to give kisses. Ricky is the first to lay down and show where his belly needs rubbed.

They have been in the house, but spend most of their time in the big yard and sleep in the garage. They may need a little refresher on house manners, as they mostly come inside now when the weather is bad, but are housebroken.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
