Hi my name is Mouse and I am 6 months old.   I am an affectionate young dachshund mix who is in need of a new home because my owners moved and couldn't take me with them. I love to be hugged and held.  I love to go for walks and play with my canine friends.

Mouse is a beautiful little dog with a collie-like nose, golden retriever-like hair, all in a little 17 lb Daschund body.  He has been neutered and is up to date with vaccines, and placed on heartworm/flea preventative before adoption.  Won't you consider giving this sweet little guy a forever home.

His foster mom says:. He is a super little pup! He needs to be on a schedule, but is basically housebroken. He loves other dogs, is good with cats, sleeps in his crate at night and loves, loves, loves to swim in our creek!  He is so soft and cuddly. He loves belly rubs and gives kisses. He is still a puppy and would do well with "Puppy Kindergarten". He is very entertaining!

Won't you consider giving this sweet little guy a forever home.

Mouse's companion, Luke (adopted) can also be seen on our website.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!
