Oscar is a sweet happy dachshund. He is 3 ½ years old and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Oscar loves everyone, especially the children in his family. He is housetrained, well behaved, knows basic commands and sits up “pretty” for treats. His family has owned him since he was 5 weeks old when they rescued him. Unfortunately, Oscar’s family is forced to relinquish him because they are moving into a rental property where they are not allowed pets. Oscar is NOT destructive and he does NOT need to be crated when he is left home alone. At night his owner simply says, “go to bed Oscar” and he goes upstairs to his bed. Whoever adopts Oscar will have a loving, well-behaved, charming little companion. Oscar will be neutered and updated on all vaccines before adoption.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.
