Chelsea was left tied to a tree when her owner moved out. She has absolutely thrived in foster care as the only dog in the family! She is housetrained, affectionate, crate trained and loves everyone she meets. Her body wags with happiness when even strangers come towards her. Chelsea enjoys playing fetch and will release the toy easily when you tell her let it go. She loves to have her belly rubbed and to go for car rides. Chelsea sits nicely when asked and gently taps gives paw for a treat. She also is learning how to sit pretty on cue, like a circus dog! She's quite the natural at doing this! Though she is young, she is well behaved and calm in the house and is a comfortable companion dog. Initially we thought Chelsea needed a home where she will be the only dog. However, living in a foster home with a talented trainer, Chelsea is doing very well with a canine companion. She loves to play tug with her furry friend and has learned to interact appropriately and calmly. Chelsea could be happy in a home with the right dog and a good human leader. Obviously, the training, consistency, and affection she's been getting in her foster home have helped Chelsea to trust other dogs. This girl will make someone a very special companion.
