Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Riki is a 5-6 year old Rat Terrier Mix who weighs about 30 lbs.  Her owner is no longer able to care for her and some busy family members are looking after her for now.  They don't have time for a dog and want her to have a home where her new owner will have more time for and can appreciate the great dog that she is.  

She is housebroken and doesn't need to be crated when no one is home,she just hangs out with the cats and watches the birds out the window.  She is OK with other dogs and has been around children.  She has always lived with adults, but there have been grandchildren around and she is OK.  She likes car rides, and LOVES walks.   She is s a stay-around girl and doesn't wander too far in her yard when off leash.

Riki recently had her teeth cleaned and is spayed and up to date on shots.  She will make a great companion and walking buddy.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
