PETEY DESPERATELY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME ASAP

Hi, My name is Petey. I am a 9 year old Jack Russell with a lot of life left in me. A couple of months ago my owner did something really stupid and ended up going to jail and left me and 5 other doggies in the house all by ourselves. Our mommy’s boyfriend was supposed to be taking care of us, but he had a lot of trouble making good decisions too so he didn’t do a very good job at taking care of us.

They locked me in a room all by myself where nobody would feed me or give me water for many days at a time. When the ladies came to rescue all of us, I was really happy to finally be able to get some food and water. I am still really really skinny and you can see most of my bones, but that doesn’t stop me from acting like a Jack Russell. I still want to bounce and run and play as much as I can, but I also like to go for car rides and sit in your lap and get lots of love.

Now I really need someone who can help me. All of the other doggies that I used to live with have been adopted or found a foster home. Because I am not so good with male dogs and cats bring out my natural hunting instincts, the people who rescued me are having a hard time finding a place for me to go. So, if you don’t have any other male doggies or any cats and want a friend to entertain you, I would love to come home with you. Won’t you please, please, please help me!

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
