Petey needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
PETEY DESPERATELY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME ASAP Hi, My name is Petey. I am a 9 year old Jack Russell with a lot of life left in me. A couple of months ago my owner did something really stupid and ended up going to jail and left me and 5 other doggies in the house all by ourselves. Our mommy’s boyfriend was supposed to be taking care of us, but he had a lot of trouble making good decisions too so he didn’t do a very good job at taking care of us. They locked me in a room all by myself where nobody would feed me or give me water for many days at a time. When the ladies came to rescue all of us, I was really happy to finally be able to get some food and water. I am still really really skinny and you can see most of my bones, but that doesn’t stop me from acting like a Jack Russell. I still want to bounce and run and play as much as I can, but I also like to go for car rides and sit in your lap and get lots of love. Now I really need someone who can help me. All of the other doggies that I used to live with have been adopted or found a foster home. Because I am not so good with male dogs and cats bring out my natural hunting instincts, the people who rescued me are having a hard time finding a place for me to go. So, if you don’t have any other male doggies or any cats and want a friend to entertain you, I would love to come home with you. Won’t you please, please, please help me!
