Violet is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Her coat is short, but a little wirey, and she has an adorable compact body, around 18 lbs. She has lived with other dogs and seems to do best with calm, smaller dogs; she is a little intimidated by larger ones. She would probably really enjoy a home where she could be a pampered only dog. She has been around children and is living with a cat in her foster home. Violet is housebroken. She is playful, loves fetch, absolutely adores car rides and being close to her humans.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
