Ruby is a super sweet, little 10 pound, 3 year old Jack Russell that needs a new home as her current family has no time to do anything for her. Ruby has an incredible smile, is house-broken as well as crate-trained and loooves chasing her tennis ball. Since she is so under stimulated, she gets very excited easily and will start bouncing and grumbling excitedly for you to throw her ball again. She loves ice cubes and hoarding her toys when she isn't playing with them. Ruby needs work on a leash and needs a harness so she will not choke herself in her excitement to be outside. She is a big cuddler when allowed and will even lay on strangers' laps and ask for tummy rubs.
She is good with kids of all ages as her current family has a pre-teen girl and young grandchildren visiting often. As a puppy she was good with cats but has not seen one since so we are unsure how she would be with them.
July 9 - Ruby was recently moved to a foster home with 2 male JRTs who are twice her size. They are doing well together, playing, enjoying running in the fenced in yard, and going on walks together. Ruby has especially attached herself to her foster dad and follows him everywhere. Ruby is a great little girl who is thriving with some attention and affection.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
