Ava is a 5 year old Doberman who could not be any sweeter. The history we have on her says she was used for breeding and was also trained as a service dog. She is housebroken, has been around kids, cats and other dogs, and rides great in the car. She did well the first day in her foster home with meeting the resident German Shepherd, standing still and allowing him to sniff her. She didn't even mind getting a bath. She walks great on leash, and looks into your eyes to see what she can do to please you. She'll come to you for attention and lay her head in your hands. She will be a devoted companion, a real velcro dog. She was just spayed and updated on her vaccines.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
