Doc is about 4 years old, 65-70 lbs. He is neutered and very very gentle. Doc lives in a house with another dog, a small child (1.5 years old) and formerly a cat. He's a love not a fighter. He's very obedient. He was trained from a puppy to wait before eating and going through doorways. He knows commands such as: Sit, stay, come, go, move, up, down, paw. For a while, his owner was "Mushing" With him and another dog. The owner would strap rollerblades on and let the two dogs pull him around in traffic.
Doc is afraid of thunder and loud noises like gun shots and fireworks. He likes being outside; mostly just to lay in the fresh air. He prefers cold weather and playing in the snow. Doc LOVES car rides and will happily stick his head out of any open window. He loves cuddling on the couch or bed (or floor, or chair, or wherever he can fit himself.
His owner reports that sometimes Doc gets defensive of his food when strange dogs are around (no problems with humans putting their hands in his bowl or anything.)
Doc is very loved, but due to economic issues, he needs to be rehomed.
