Nell needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Sweet Nell was found as a stray and is looking for her forever home. She is approximately 1 year old, weighs 30-40 pounds, and probably won't get much bigger. She has an adorable stubby tail. Nell is good with other dogs and very friendly with people. She loves attention from the volunteers who are caring for her at the kennel and cuddles up for attention. She walks pretty nicely on leash and is playful with toys. She has a sweet puppy "play, play, play" attitude, but is eager to please and should do very well with basic training. She will sit at her kennel door and never messes in the pen. She'll be spayed and then moved to a foster home the week of July 4, stay tuned for more info from her foster family. July 19-Update from Foster Mom: I have been calling Nell "Nelly". She seems to respond to it better than just Nell. What a sweetie! Her and my pup are playing well together. There doesn't seem to be any aggression at all. She wants o play with the cat but if the cat growls at her she will back up and walk away. I found out that she loves children and wants to follow them around everywhere. She has not been vocal at all. The only time she will bark is when she has to go out or wants out to play. I have been crating her at night and she does very well with that. Doesn't bark or anything, although I think she would do fine out of the crate. She actually is pretty laid back. She will make someone a very good companion.
