Daisy Sue is a 6 year old Black lab who needs to be re-homed because her owners do not have time to give her the attention she needs and wants. Because no one had time to spend with sweet Daisy, she was chained to a dog house.  She longs for someone to play with her, love her, take her for walks and make her a part of the family.  She gets along with dogs, children, and loves attention.  She didn't even bother the ducks who got close to her while she was chained.  Daisy is a dog for a real lab lover.  She will, of course, be your devoted companion forever.  Won't you consider making her a part of your family and loving her forever.

Update from Daisy's Foster Mom:

Since entering foster care, Daisy has flourished in a home environment. She’s completely housebroken, and very mannerly despite never having been an indoor/house dog before.  Daisy is an absolute lover of a girl, adores both her human foster mom and canine foster brothers. She loves attention, and is definitely a companion dog.  Daisy would do very well with other dogs or as the sole pet, as regular interaction-human, canine, both- is of utmost importance.  Daisy hasn’t demonstrated ANY signs of aggression… not with food, toys, other dogs or people. Nor has she displayed destructive tendencies. She’s fairly decent on leash, which is improving… she loves her walks, as well as car rides. Daisy’s very mindful, trainable, listens well, comes when called, and aims to please. Her devotion and capacity to love are immeasurable and resilient beyond belief, considering her previous situation. This is one very special girl, who truly deserves all the love, care, and affection that has eluded her… thus far.

10/7/2012 - update:  It's been one week now since Daisy's arrival, and we're all still doing great! Not a single accident, and I've been letting her loose in the house in my absence, sans issues... she's discovered toys, LOVES stuffed animals, fetch, and is exhibiting her playful side. She is relishing home life, surrounded by constant companionship.
