Carlton needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Carlton is a young mixed breed, around 45 pounds, who had a rough start to life and is now looking for a kind and loving family. Carlton is good with other dogs, likes to go for walks and really enjoyed all of the attention from the people taking care of him at the kennel. While he was shy at first, his playful, fun-loving personality started to show when he was receiving regular attention and exercise. Carlton was recently moved to a foster home and his foster mom reports he thinks everything (even a rainstorm) is fun and his new motto is "playmate wanted, your toys or mine" He loves to play and brings his favorite ball back and drops it at her feet. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is learning to do stairs, is already doing better on the leash, and they are working on not jumping up. There have been no problems around the cats and they are beginning to work on sit, stay, down, and come. Carlton is neutered and completely vetted.
