Gizmo was king of his household and used to getting a lot of attention until his owner passed away and left him alone. His age is estimated to be 7-8 years old. He is housebroken, crate trained, and loves to take walks!! He is a personable, sweet, friendly, and certainly an ADORABLE, little guy to the people he bonds with. His foster mom said he is a doll who loves to be on your lap or right with you. In his foster home, he has to share attention and isn’t liking having to do that after being a pampered only dog in his original home. While he currently is living with other dogs and cats, Gizmo would be much better off the as an only pet. He does not like to share laps or his food and is quick to let others know if they are too close to “mom”. He does not do well initially when meeting new people, but will re-bond with someone new, as he did with his foster family, if given the chance. He is the perfect dog for an individual or a couple who loves the sassy Peke personality and doesn’t have children or other pets. He needs a leader with patience and consistency who can devote time and attention to him and give him lots of love.
Gizmo has been neutered, completely vetted, and had a dental cleaning and is ready for a forever home where he will make a special companion and best friend for someone loves spunky, smooshy-faces! Please give this little guy a chance for a new start like he deserves!!

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
