Shardea is a loving 6 year old female black lab. Shardea is spayed and up to date with vaccines. She came into rescue with her housemate, Bertram (Bert) a yellow 3 year old lab. Shardea is very friendly, loves people and children. She gets along with other dogs, and cats, too! It would be great if someone could adopt Bertram and Shardea together (although not a must). Shardea depends loves Bert and depends on him quite a bit.
Either or both dogs will make wonderful companions. Adopting both is not double trouble! It's double the fun.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
