Lady is an 11 year old pure bred German Shepherd.  Her owner gave her up due to financial troubles that led to her losing her home causing Lady to lose the only family she has ever known.  Lady is now in a foster home with a family that has 2 older girls. She does well with the family but because the woman runs her business from her home the environment is just too over stimulating for Lady who feels the need to bark when clients come and bark when they leave.

Although Lady is a senior she doesn’t let that stop her.  Even though she has typical Shepherd hip issues and is on medication she will fetch and fetch and fetch until YOU can’t throw anymore.  Lady’s foster family is feeding her high quality dog food for her hips which seems to be helping greatly.

Lady is staying with 2 other dogs and does not really seem to be too concerned with them.  She is more interested in being with her humans and playing fetch.  While she does prefer the ladies in the household, her foster mom says she would be fine with a man in the home.  Lady would love a home in the country and a family to protect.  She is not aggressive at all, but she can be intimidating until you pull that ball out of your pocket :0))
