WON'T YOU PLEASE ADOPT ME? I've been waiting a long time for someone to give me my forever home. I really love my foster mom, but I would like a home of my very own. I may look furry and chunky - but I am the best dog and will love you forever! PLEASE CONSIDER ME!
Chelsie is a 7 year young Husky or Akita mix. Someone even told us she looked like their cattle dog mix. Whatever she is, she is pretty, friendly, cuddly and loves to meet new people (not aloof like Akitas can be). She is in need of a new home because her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is accustomed to frequent walks and does well on leash. She loves long walks in all kinds of weather and she really enjoys the daily wrestling match with her foster dad when he gets home from work. She likes toys and also enjoys playing ball and riding in the car. She enjoys playing with her foster canine brother and with the dogs at the dog park. At night, she sleeps quietly on her own bed beside her foster mom's bed and has learned to stay off the furniture.
She likes squirrel watching from the enclosed deck, so a home with a nice yard would be a big plus for Chelsie. She enjoys her outdoor time! Chelsie is a very charming, active, happy, adaptable dog who will make an awesome companion!

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
