Maggie is a terrier mix who is around 2 years old. She presently lives with a very large male dog and 3 cats and does well with all. She is an energetic and athletic little terrier girl who loves to play fetch and weighs 35 pounds. When meeting new people she is a little shy and slow-to-trust, but loves the people who found her several months ago who have been taking care of her. She is very affectionate with them and is a good cuddler on the sofa. Maggie is eager to learn and will work for treats. She is not possessive or aggressive with toys, bones, or food.
Maggie will do well in a home that is willing to work with her on learning to trust and that will provide her with daily exercise. She may also benefit from a fenced yard. Her caregiver feels she should probably go to a home with older kids.
