Doc is a sweet little beagle about 4 years old. He weighs 25 pounds, neutered and is up to date with vaccines. Doc was found on a mountain alone and frightened with porcupine quills embedded in his skin. He was taken to a vet clinic where they cared for his wounds, neutered him and called rescues for help in finding Doc a wonderful new home. Doc loves to play with his canine companion and go for long hikes with his furry friend and foster mom. His foster mom says he is great with everyone - including her grandchildren.
UPDATE: 8/23/2015: - Please check out the great pics of Doc E with his foster's twin grandchildren. In one he's being read a storybook, in the other he's getting brushed in preparation for his "walk". This dog is very special and we can't understand why no one has offered him a forever home.
Please consider giving Doc the home he deserves - this little guy is special.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
