Hemi is a 3 year old boxer/shepherd mix and is just over 50 pounds. Hemi is living in a foster home with another male dog and gets along with the female dog who visits at his foster home. He REALLY loves it when the grandchildren (human!—6 of them, all under age 5!) come to visit. He is smart and becomes even smarter when offered tasty liver treats! So he has some basic obedience down pretty good. He is crate trained, but foster mom says she doesn’t really use it since he is so well-behaved in the house. Hemi is guaranteed to melt right into you when you give him a back massage and you’re guaranteed to melt when he looks up at you with his big, soft brown eyes. His foster mom says that he is not a barker. But if you want some awesome doggie tunes and a tail wagging happy dance greeting when you arrive home everyday---then Hemi is the dog for you! Because Hemi so loves going to visit at a home with another dog and a fenced in yard, she feels that Hemi would prefer a forever home with a fenced in yard. A kitty-free home would also be advisable. Hemi is, of course, house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.
