Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

December 2017

Jax, now Jack, has been with us three months and just celebrated his first birthday! He loves the grandkids and his new brothers Big Black Chance and H2H alum Rocky. He's getting lots of play and exercise and after that he loves to cuddle with us and the other dogs. 

Jim, now CJ, is growing into a handsome dog, at 50 pounds now! 

Zoey (formerly Julie, little black and white) is such a loving pup and has really come into her own.  She is still not a huge fan of the crate at night but only wines for about 5 mins then is asleep (Unless her cousins come over to play and then she is out like a light:)).  Zoey weighs around 15lbs now but has a way to go if she wants to catch up to Lacey (her cousin in the picture). She is adapting well and is a healthy little ball of energy.

Zoey is a great addition to our family and we love her dearly.  My family has been stopping over more frequently because of our little Zoey :)

We feel blessed every day to have been able to adopt Ruby (formerly Josey). What a joy she is. We crated her for about a week but she would get so stressed so I tried one day to let her stay on the couch with Sophia in their beds and she was fine. She didn't do a single thing. She's not housebroken yet, but she's getting there. With the warmer weather she's outside more so we're hoping that helps.

 

Sophia and Ruby sleep in bed with us and Sophia weighs 15 pounds, but Ruby weighs almost 19 pounds so the bed is pretty full. Lol.
