Brauny Just a note to let you know that Henry (formerly Brauny) is a joy to have around. He is just such a sweet loving little fella - I'm so happy he's living here now. Pictured with his sister Katie.

Hello!
Just wanted to check in and let you know that Stanley and I are still going strong! Today is our 5-month anniversary and he is doing great! I just took him for an introductory appt/mid-year checkup last night and he received a clean bill of health. He is maintaining his boyish figure (a whopping 23.6 lbs) and the staff loved him. I also took him to Woofstock at the end of September and had him microchipped. We did have to leave immediately afterward, however, because Stanley decided he wanted to beat up every large dog he saw, regardless of how much they outweighed him! He’s very particular as to who he befriends and who he doesn’t, so I keep a close eye on him when we go for walks or to places where he will meet other canines.
Sadly, I did lose my senior beagle, Bud. Bud passed away on October 15, two weeks after we celebrated his 18th
Birthday. Although he wasn’t able to be much of a companion for Stanley, we certainly do miss him. But…….Stanley has moved on rather quickly and is delighted with his “King of the Castle” status.
We just have one problem – he keeps pushing me off the bed! Yes, the sweet dear lays right smack against me and little by little through the night he manages to move me closer to the edge – some mornings I wake up barely clinging on! Obviously, that’s a problem I’m more than happy to have
J
That’s all for now – just wanted to give you a quick update and thank you once again for bringing us together.

Greetings!
First, I would like to thank you for helping Bailey (n/k/a “Stanley Patrick Tyler”) send me the very nice Haven to Home Thank You card!

Stanley is doing great. It’s almost like he was Made to Order and then gift wrapped just for me. He is an absolute angel and I love him to pieces. He is so patient and understanding with my senior beagle, Bud, who, Lord willing, will celebrate his 18th
birthday on October 1. Stanley is just perfect – he listens well; he doesn’t bark unless provoked by the neighborhood Rottweiler, Abe, whose clumsy demeanor sets him off for some reason; he has not had one accident since he arrived a month ago today; he sleeps right up against me and constantly gives me kisses; he doesn’t chew on anything but his toys; he doesn’t get upset when it storms; and he doesn’t need crated while I’m at work! I could not have asked for a more well-behaved and lovable dog – he’s the light of my life! And, he seems equally happy with his new life and Mom – he follows me everywhere and sometimes I catch him just staring at me. As I melt, I can’t help but wonder what he’s thinking…
Stanley was introduced to his vacation home in Ocean City, MD for the first time this past weekend! He sat safely secured in his brand new car seat (see attached pics), looking out the window for a while, then taking a break to nap – and once there, he adjusted to his new surroundings right away. Stanley loved playing in his new home with his new best friend, Roz (my friend Dawn’s pocket beagle). Dawn and I walked them both up to the beach early Saturday morning (poor Bud had to stay behind and rest in the condo). Roz had been there many times before, but Stanley wasn’t quite sure what to think of the huge sand box, and did not like getting his feet wet when the waves unexpectedly came up on us – but he took it in stride and continued on his way, sniffing all the neat smells and digging in the sand. I can’t wait to take him again when I go back down in early November.
I will continue to send updates from time to time. Thanks again for all you do at H2H to find wonderful dogs like Stanley their forever home.
Sincerely,
Marnette Tyler and Stanley
Bronx Just wanted to send you an update on Bronx and share some pictures. He has become part of our family in such a short time. The kids love having a dog to play with especially my youngest. He is always laying on the floor with him or throwing his ball. Bronx is doing very well at settling into a routine. He didn't like when my husband went to work on Monday because they had bonded quickly but it didn't take long for him and I to bond too. He still loves to jump on people to greet them but we are working on that and making progress. He is learning that he only gets the attention he wants when he sits, but the puppy in him sometimes forgets. We haven't regretted adopting Bronx for a moment and are thankful that we could give a home. I attached a few pictures...
