Kiera

Kiera, now named Rooney. She and her new brother Tucker get along great, she follows him around everywhere and seems to like hanging around him. She is learning some basic commands very quickly and is a smart dog. She is super sweet and gentle and we love having her around. Here is another picture taken yesterday morning of Tucker and Rooney laying around!

Goliath

Boy what a great time we have been spending with Goliath (now named Hondo) lately! He is such a good boy and is learning all kinds of new tricks. Because of the nice weather, he has been spending a lot of time with his four-legged cousins lately going on walks with them! He has been a great helper out in the yard and is already spoiled by sitting in his dad's chair! He has become really good friends with our cat Beans and loves to play tug-a-war with anyone and everyone! Again, we are just so happy to have him as part of our family now.  Thank you so much for all the help that you gave us and your extreme patience with all of our questions. You really are an angel sent from above to match us up with our new "son."

Brittany
Brittany

Just wanted to let you know Takoda, aka Brittany, is doing great. She enjoys running in our backyard, playing in the water and mud, of course. She is very vocal, which is probably the border collie in her, but that's okay. She is very affectionate, likes to put her neck on our neck and have her head right against ours. She wakes us up in the morning by giving soft "kisses" until we look at her and get up.

Our other two dogs, Sout and Apache, who we also got from Haven to Home, have accepted her. Took them a little because of how active and vocal Takoda is.

Thank you again for letting us adopt Brittany/Takoda. She is a cherished addition to our family.

Champ

HAPPY TAIL ON CHAMP!

Champ is loving life! What a cuddle-bug he is. He snuggles right in for a nice nap whenever given the opportunity. He also LOVES to play, go on walks, and car rides. His energy and happiness are infectious! He puts a smile on everyone’s face. He is a local slow pitch softball team’s mascot where he gets to wear a snazzy, green bandana and hang out with the team. We recently took him swimming at a nearby creek for the first time and he had a BLAST! I don’t think his tail stopped wagging the entire hike and swim! We are so thankful that you introduced us to this wonderful boy! It’s hard to think about the time before we had him, because he is the perfect fit in our lives.

Much love – Jesse, Megan, and Champ
