Luka is around 5 years old, neutered and micro-chipped and seems to be house trained.  We believe he is a Brittany Spaniel/Border Collie mix.  He is loving and has lived with cats and dogs at his former home and gets along great with his foster Mom's Lab as well as her cat. Just sniffed it and walked away from the cat and immediately played with her dog.  He walks very well on a leash and rides well in the car.  He has tested negative forparasites,  heartworm and Lyme Di.  He weighs 45 lbs and his coat is soft and fluffy. He loves having his back scratched.  Luka lived inside most of his life, but the poor boy found himself tied to a dog house far away from the house.  He was so lonely.

Update 12-11-10
Luka's foster family brought him to an adoption event at Brookpark Pet Supply.  He enjoyed meeting everyone there, both human and canine, and even the little kittens who hissed at him. He even posed for a photo with Santa Paws and told Santa that all he wants for Christmas is a FOREVER HOME.

He has been in his foster home for a week.  Foster mom reports that Luka is a great dog.  He is housebroken with just a couple initial accidents and he is crated when they go away.  He is a "go with the flow" dog, will either play, or just hang out with the family.  A fenced yard or unlimited acreage is recommended because he does love to run.  Will come when his name is called.
