Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Charlie is a handsome boy--just drop dead gorgeous!!  He is about 2 years old.  Loves people, especially kids (though he does think it is his job to herd them!) and gets along well with cats.  When he meets dogs in neutral territory or at their "house", he is happy to play, but he likes to be the dominant dog on his home turf--he has to protect his people!  We have been trying to train Charlie not to jump up when greeting people (previous owners must have thought it was cute) and he walks wonderfully on a leash.  Charlie needs lots of outdoor exercise and might even like to do some agility training.  He mostly wants to please his owners and be doted upon.

He is vetted and neutered and on Flea/Tick Preventative.

Because he has a tendency to run away if he feels he is alone or you're not watching,  a large fenced in yard is needed.  He could most likely also be trained to an electric fence as well.

Please won't you give Charlie the  loving home that he is longing for!!
