Honey is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is about a year old.She is a medium sized dog weighing in at just over 50 pounds, and that’s all the bigger the vet expects her to get.With her Ridgeback heritage, she loves to track scents and sights, and loves to run! She would do outstanding if she was adopted by a family who has a large fenced yard. She is currently being fostered on a farm with lots of acreage for her to explore, and though she can be stubborn about recall, she can be trusted off leash when there is enough land and no busy roads nearby. Honey loves to play ball, ride in cars, play with her other dog buddies, meet new people….She’s full of exuberance. On grey rainy days, she wants to cuddle with you under a blanket and nap all day. Honey is fully housebroken, crate trained, knows basic commands, respects the space of her kitty roommates, gets along with male and female dogs of all sizes, is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. Come take Honey for a run and see if you don’t run right home with her!

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
