Drake is an adorable spaniel mix who is around 6 months old and weighs 15 pounds. He has typical a puppy energy and is exuberant with an obvious love-of-life. Drake is playful and eager to learn. He’s crate trained and is doing well with house training when he is kept on a schedule. He had no leash training when we got him, but he is doing well with that and also learning some basic obedience. Of course he loves attention and makes a great lap dog. He wants a forever home that has time and energy for a puppy, a fenced yard would be a plus, and so would another playful dog.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
