Reiley is a beautiful 6 year old male Sheltie.  He is very good with children and lives with another dog who has come into rescue with him (Dixon - shepherd mix).  Reiley alerts his family to strangers but greets family friends with tail wags.  He is a bit shy at first, but is a loyal family companion.  Reiley is reactive to small animals (cats, squirrels, bunnies) in the backyard. He has never lived with a house cat.  Reiley lives on a busy street, so his owners never take him off leash.  He is reactive to cars passing by and would probably chase a car if off leash.  A fenced in yard would be recommended but not necessarily required to adopt Reiley.  Consideration will be given to a great home w/o a fence.  Reiley gets along with his canine companion, but would probably do well as an only dog as long as he's not left for long hours each day.  He likes to play with toys and chew on safe bones.  Reiley's family is very sad to give him up due to a change in lifestyle.  He will be an awesome companion for the right person/family.
