Are you looking for a little 1 year old, 10 lb, sweet, jolly companion?  If so, Jo-Jo may be the boy for you!  He is an absolute darling who loves to give kisses and cuddle on the couch. He gets along great with other animals.  He currently lives with 5 other small dogs and 1 cat. 

He loves to play with toys and will entertain himself by jumping on the couch, throwing his toys and then jumping down and retrieving them.  Make sure you have very strong chew toys because he chews tennis balls to bits! He also likes to walk around on his hind legs and "wave" his front paws.

He is very comfortable with women and children but shy of men.  He will warm up to men if they use a non-threatening approach and have treats of course!  He is very polite when he takes treats from people and has no aggressions whatsoever.

Jo-Jo walks very nicely on a leash and rides well in a car.  He sleeps quietly in his crate at night too. He is working on his housetraining - ocasionally has accidents.

For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
