Meet Oakley, an 11 month old, 50 pound, puppy! He is predominately white with a black mask. He has a beautiful plume tail and feathering on his legs and chest. This boy is striking! Though we are unsure of his breed our best guess is Border Collie with maybe a touch of English Setter.

Oakley is full of energy and loves to go for long walks and car rides. He enjoys toys especially chasing a ball and being with his people. Oakley has been clean in the house and quickly showed his intelligence by learning to use the doggie door. This young fellow loves his backyard and runs in and out multiple times a day. He has been trusted home alone with free reign of the house with 2 of his foster sisters without a problem. He doesn’t love his crate but will sleep there at night if not invited to sleep in a bed.

This gentle dog was quick to integrate himself into his foster doggie pack that includes young, old, big, small, male, female and handicapped. Border Collies are known for loving their family and this boy is no exception. He would be a great family dog that would be good with other dogs or kids. Oakley is quick, smart and treat motivated which makes him a great candidate for performance competition training.

Oakley will be ready for his forever home around April 14. At that time he will be neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. He is on monthly heart worm/flea/tick/ preventatives.
