UPDATE 3/18/24:  Sweet Toby is now belly band free as he has understood that inside is his home and outside is his potty.  His favorite things in the world are either laying on his back in a lap while getting a belly rub or if no lap is available, then he will spend hours sunning himself on the porch.  To meet him is to love him.  Please fill out an application to meet Toby in person and be prepared to loose your heart to him!


Don’t let Toby’s age fool you.  Though he will qualify for a senior discount adoption fee, he acts like a puppy!  He has short little legs that can walk at a fast pace for a long distance (so much more fun than any tread mill)!  He is an equal opportunity snuggler enjoying any lap available be it man, woman or child.  He has a face that belongs on Sesame Street and a beautiful soft shiny coal black coat. Toby has accent white markings on his front feet and chest making him one handsome dude. Unfortunately, he has partially lost the sight in his right eye.  This does not slow him down or bother him in the least.

Toby quickly integrated into a pack of 6 dogs which includes: male, female, young, old, big and small.  Though he is not currently living with cats, when cat tested, he was excited to meet them but did not threaten to harm them.  Toby is a perfect little companion on road trips and enjoys a good car ride.  Quickly learning to use the doggie door in his foster home, he uses it to access the backyard where he loves spending time.  What a smart little man!

This cutie pie is a puppy mill survivor that never lived in a house.  Needless to say, this sweet boy is now enjoying the good life and is making strides in his house manners.  Toby’s recent neuter will aid in this process.   Consistency and belly bands are helping to pave the way for a well mannered little dog.

All Haven to Home dogs are up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on monthly flea/tick/heartworm medication and are spayed or neutered.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
