Mervin is a two year old liver and tan Havanese boy.    He has big brown eyes and a soft wavy coat.  If you have always wanted a real live stuffed animal, this little ten pound boy may be your dream come true.  Adorable, happy, affectionate, and lively are a few of the adjectives that describe this cutie!

Mervin is the product of a puppy mill but seems to have survived his first two years without being too damaged.  He is learning to do steps (it is a struggle for the little guy) and actually just learned to eat treats (enjoys tiny bits of goodies now).  Mervin has realized that being held  is a good thing.

Velcro boy walks great on a leash but, he does get car sick if going any distance.  Mervin barks when crated but will settle down; he will use his voice to say he wants to be with you.  Mervin is a wonderful bed buddy and lap warmer. 

Mervin needs a home where he will not have to spend long hours alone.  He has already had enough of being by himself!   Havanese need a routine professional clipping and home grooming consists of a good brushing and combing a couple times a week.  He gets along well in a pack of six dogs that includes: big, small, male, and female.

Mervin is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative and is neutered.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
