Daisy is a healthy, female dog of 45-50 lbs. She is very agile, fast and athletic. Her mother was a known Blue Heeler. The father was unknown. By simply looking at her, it seems apparent that father was probably a German Shepherd.  Daisy was evaluated by a professional trainer, who says she is a very intelligent animal who can quickly outsmart humans who don't give her credit for a high level of intelligence and who don't provide her with training and good leadership skills.  To describe her at this time: She is mischievous, driven, intelligent, stubborn and independent.  With a little work on the part of an owner, all of those drives can be put to use for the human.

With a little time, patience, consistency, persistence and opportunity, this dog can be the dog of someone's dreams. The dog is not recommended for very small children; not because she is aggressive in any way.  She just doesn't realize her strength.  She is very good with older children in her present household.  In fact, she is drawn to them, listens to them, and seems happiest when the children are around her.

Daisy will need some work on leash walking as she has had limited training.   Daisy Jo is a
very, very smart animal. She picks up on things quickly and is just looking for direction, as she has not been offered much leadership at this time. She lives with two other dogs and has been reported not to have any problems with other canines.

Daisy will be spayed and her vaccines updated before adoption.  Are you a good match for Daisy - she's just waiting for a wonderful home and the owner who will appreciate her intelligence and put it to good use.
