Aero Tucker is doing Great! It took some time but we finally got him to come up on the couch and bed. All 3 of us can t fit when he is there, but he likes it. Lol. And get this...he is not so kong dependent anymore. We noticed the difference about a month ago. He will pick one up but only chew a couple times and drop it. No more chewing for hours???? What happened to our baby boy??? Lol. It took 7 months but he is finally becoming very relaxed. He doesn't follow me to the bathroom each and every time any more. To be honest I miss that . Lol. He is doing great with training too. We use a muzzle, but after meeting other dogs, the initial excitement wears off and he doesn't care they are there . On Saturday I got down and really played tug with this other dog and he sat there like nothing. Very surprising. As soon as the weather breaks, we will be taking him on Saturday morning walks with other dogs to keep up the socialization . But indoor training has been great. The first time the instructor told me to drop the leash, tell him to sit, and walk away from him, in a room with 7 other dogs???! I thought she was nuts...he didn't even care they were there, stayed focused on me. Jo and I can't tell you how much we love the big lug.

Andy We adopted Hamilton (formerly Andy) from Haven to Home in May of this year. Hamilton, or "Hammy," as we like to call him since he's a total clown, completes our family. He LOVES our 2.5 year old son, Jonah. We all love our fur child, Hammy, and we love Haven to Home for all the amazing things you do for the doggies and for giving us an awesome addition to our family !
Aries Hello,
I just wanted to give you a small update about how things are going with the new member to our home, Aries. Dirk and I have never owned Husky's before Gus and Aries, and either we just got lucky twice, or it is just the breed, but, both dogs are doing wonderfully. Both Aries and Gus are very laid back, although Aries does get frisky in the morning and right before bedtime. Gus usually just lays there and stares at Aries like he is crazy, but Aries doesn't care, he is just having a little fun. We also have another dog, Duke, however he usually keeps to himself as he is almost 16 years old and likes to eat, poop and sleep. We call Duke the combat referee because when Aries and Gus are playing he just follows along and barks at them. Duke is the boss and he wants everyone to know it. Aries follows Gus everywhere and Gus is teaching him the rules of the house. All we have to do is get Gus to do something and Aries mimicks him perfectly. I have attached a picture of the two of them after a day of playing. I will follow up at a later date. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to adopt such wonderful pets.
