Pickles

Pickles is an angel in a fur coat! We adore her. She is falling asleep next to me now after a hard day of chasing snowflakes and playing chase/fetch/tug etc... She also made 2 friends with neighbor dogs-kelly + ella-also both rescue dogs. We did decide to call her Sheila-it is what Australians call girls-we thought it fitting with her heritage. She's only been alone for an hour yesterday. She had house to herself and did fine. She will rarely be alone for more than 3 hours anyway. We couldn't have asked for a better dog-i hope she knows she found her forever home. Many smiles, Erin

Duke G
Duke G

Dear Haven to  Home,
Thankyou for allowing us to adopt Duke. We call him Kipp now and he's doing wonderful. He's learning manners and is already no longer barking at our guests and is listening to our commands. He is very good with our daughter's baby but isnt too good with the neighbor's dog yet.......... but we're working on it. He is going to "Yappy HOur" every Wednesday nite to get to know other dogs  and learn how to play well with others. Please tell his family he is well taken care of and has already taken his place in our hearts.

Lucy

1/25/11: From Lucy...

I have found a new, wonderful companion in Gladys who understands the needs of older pets like me.  Gladys and I are both seniors so we enjoy life at a slower pace but have lots of fun every day.  I sleep with Gladys and I enjoy my romps in the backyard on a long tether.  I even get to go visiting to see Gladys' friends and relatives!  What a life!

Here are some pictures of me playing with my new buddy, Stormy.  I
like to run, play with my ball, and play tug of war with Stormy.  We
chase each other around inside and outside, really having fun!  My new
home is great!!

Ethan

After a walk around the neighborhood, he was ready for a nap.  This
picture was taken only four hours after arrival!
