Lucinda

Mazuno was adopted last year. Her name was "Lucinda", one of the "L" puppies. She's grown into a real beauty with a silky black coat. She enjoys spending time with with the college students where her "mom" works and really enjoys the softball tournaments where she gets LOTS of EXTRA attention. She also enjoys long car rides to visit her "grandparents". They love her so much, they didn't want to share her anymore, so they welcomed a rescued puppy to there home. 'Zuna was happy to welcome the new addition.

Layla

Layla came to us as a foster  in the spring of 2010 at 9 months of age.  She was so painfully shy and fearful it made our hearts ache.  She joined a pack of boxers in our home who are dearly loved.  A few months after coming to live with us as a foster, our wonderful fawn boxer was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  He died a few months later, and needless to say, Layla was added to our family permanently.  Rachael came to H2H in August of 2010 (age 2 years old) and was fostered by a wonderful family.  Unfortunately, Rachael had a suspicious heart murmur which looked like early heart disease.  No one seemed willing to adopt her due to a possible short life for this gorgeous sweet girl.  So, when her foster family had a change in their work schedules, my husband and I took Rachael to foster in December of 2010.  She’s now a permanent part of our family and she’s doing great.  She and Layla are best buddies who wrestle and enjoy running on our small horse farm.  They have added so much to our family.  So, we are foster failures (a humorous term we at h2h use for people who adopt their foster dogs) and we happily admit it.  These two wonderful dogs now live with Pudgie, a rescued Jug, and Bentley an 8 year old brindle boxer.

Liberty

Liberty is now 6 months old and doing fabulous! She is such a smart little girl and has continued to bring such joy to our family since the day she came home! She developed a routine almost immediately and was an instant fit...she wins the heart of EVERYONE that she meets. She really enjoyed her first Christmas and all the extra attention and gifts that came along with it! She has definitely become “mommy’s little girl!" I have attached a picture of Liberty with her "puppy siblings" as well as two others that I particularly love! Thank you again for bringing Liberty into our lives; she has truly been a blessing….happy holidays!

Lewie

As you can see Lewie is fitting in very nicely. He took no time at all to settle in. In fact the one picture of my son laying on him is from the first day we got him. He walked right in the house, into the kitchen and promptly stuck his nose into the trash can. He loves to play and would do most anything to please you. He has been with us for about 6 weeks now and has really made our house his home. I am very pleased with how much he already knew and how fast he catches on to new things. He loves anything soft that squeaks and has stuffing that he can pull out and leave laying all over the place and would much prefer to be on the couch or one of our beds than the floor. He is going to obedience training and is doing well. Our main goal is to get him walking better on the leash so that we are walking him instead of him walking us. His favorite place to be is wherever you are and his favorite place to sit is your lap. He doesn't seem to realize that he weighs 70 lbs. He has not had one accident in the house from day one and has adjusted very well to a wireless fence system that he obeys to the T even after only a week or so. He is a joy to have and I knew from the moment I saw his picture that he was the right dog for this family and I was right. Thank you for everything.

Lacey Loo

I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that Lacey Loo is doing
fine.  It hasn't been 2 days but she seems to be fitting in quite well.
We have decided to change her name to Molly as we wanted another Irish
name.  Molly and Shamus are getting along fine, although we think he
wonders where this little whirlwind came from!  They chase each other and
pull on a toy....like children whatever one has the other one wants.  Will
try to get a picture of them in action and send to you.

She is just adorable and we are so happy we found her!  We took her to
have her nails trimmed and have scheduled an appointment for the vet to
examine her prior to having her spade. We want her to get use to use and
Shamus before her surgery so hopefully in about a month that will take
place. We also will be receiving her collar for the invisible fence in the
next day or two, that should be a challenge, she is a crazy girl.

A big thanks to Haven to Home for bringing this special little gal into
our lives.

Sincerely,
Mary Ann & Brian
