Trapper We call him Trapper and he may be responding to it a bit. He is also getting pretty good at sit. He is eating well and sleeps well in his crate (and has since his first night). We really only had potty issues the first day and occasional "I am excited" dribbles. He walks pretty well on leash and loves his squeaky toys--don't think it will be hard to teach him to fetch since he usually brings the squeaky toy back to me--no matter who throws it. AT first he wouldn't go for a walk with Anna (the oldest) by herself without whining, but he is getting better. He definitely likes to be with me. He had a lot of fun playing in the snow this morning. He seems very friendly with people and we haven't had any problems having him meet people but he seems more cautious around other dogs than maybe I expected given that he was around so many with you. The girls adore him and fight over who gets to do what--though only Anna and I walk him. We have an appointment with the vet next week--just to get me on a schedule with them and a training lesson next week too. I think he will learn very quickly if we are consistent. He really is a great dog, will play with the girls and then chill out in the evening or at the office--he has picked a favorite chair in my office or tries to sit on my lap when I type. We are very happy with him and so grateful he had a great place with you.
Thanks, Emily
Tootsie Hi Robin,
Things are going extremely well with Tootsie girl! She is a wonderful addition to our household, and we couldn't be more happy to have her in our family.
All things considered, things couldn't be better. Like most Bostons, Toots snores louder than my father and farts something wicked, but we love her in all of her smelliness! Thanks to yourself and the rest of folks at Haven to Home for brining her into our lives.
A pic of Toots is attached.
Taffy Taffy is doing really well! I just thought I would let you know that she is a great dog and I'm happy Haven to Home exists! ~Laura
Tiki 2/25/2012 Tiki and her new mom Cindy came to visit at our Brookpark Adoption Event. The volunteers present were so happy to see Tiki. She had a rough time adjusting after her owner died, but is now doing well in her new home with Cindy's family and other dogs. Cindy, a foster, proved that it's good to be a "Foster Failure"!
Tux Quinn is awesome!! He has made himself right at home. A VERY strong boy, no aggressive tendencies what so ever. A beautiful soul. He has learned all the basics and has learned to play. He loves his toys....balls....bones etc. He enjoys occasional daycare and a local dog park where everyone goes unleashed, plays and socializes. He has become a buddy to all the kids in the neighborhood. The kids actually ring my bell and asks if he could come out and play. If you saw how happy he becomes knowing the kids are at the door, its easy to see why I can never say no. He loves the outdoors............hiking, going for rides, visiting family and friends. He has a very high energy level which were doing well with. Were still works in progress, growing each day and headed in the right direction. Its almost to easy, he's so responsive to direction. Wish I could send you better pictures, currently all I have to work with is a cell phone and most of the pictures come out blurry. Thank you for bringing us together. He is a wonderful addition to the family and each day I try to provide him with a wonderful life and atmosphere. Lilly Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
