Nadia Well it has been over a year now since we adopted Nadia and next month will be a year since Kahla joined our family. Kahla's name was just Piper, but we decided to name her Kahla Piper Kear. Although they are both mixed. Nadia has more Labrador Retriever in her blood line. She definitely looks like a Lab and her personality traits are almost identical to a Lab. She loves to play, swim and play tag with her sister. Her favorite toy of course is a ball. She loves to play fetch, and she is the first dog we have ever owned that brings the ball back.
Kahla
has personality and physical traits of a German Shepherd although she is not territorial or aggressive. She loves to run and chase her sister. Every morning the girls have a routine when Dad goes to work. Kahla insists every morning to go find a shoe and carry it around until Dad leaves them outside. She won't take the shoe outside nor will she chew on them. They have a sisterly relationship and always follows each other around. When Nadia was spayed, Kahla stayed at the vets with her. However we decided when Kahla was spayed, Nadia should stay home with me and she refused to eat and play. She laid by the d

waiting for her sister. They have brought joy into our lives and are a perfect match for each other. Thank you!

Lola April 1, 2013 Hello Robin, It's been a little while since I've talked with you. Just thought I would send you a photo that we took yesterday. Lola is still doing very good, she is now microchipped and lifetime licensed. We are working on boundary training and she's doing pretty good with that, but we have a neighbor who has chickens and bunnies and they are not always penned and end up on my property. That currently gives her a little (more than little) struggle, she's only following her instinct as a pup. Hope all is well with you and all your pups/kittens and finding great homes!!!
Talk to you soon!

Carlton 2/16/13 Just wanted to keep everyone updated on Carlton. He is doing great. Although sometimes he acts like a two year old (terrible twos), but he is a very comical and fun dog to be with. He is also a great watch dog and very protective of myself and Bob. He is a natural born "clown" dog. He can be stubborn when coming in the house, he can be quite the tease. We love him and enjoy him all the time! Thanks again for allowing us to be his forever home. Sincerely, Eileen and Bob
Gus Hello,
I just wanted to give you a small update about how things are going with the new member to our home, Aries. Dirk and I have never owned Husky's before Gus and Aries, and either we just got lucky twice, or it is just the breed, but, both dogs are doing wonderfully. Both Aries and Gus are very laid back, although Aries does get frisky in the morning and right before bedtime. Gus usually just lays there and stares at Aries like he is crazy, but Aries doesn't care, he is just having a little fun. We also have another dog, Duke, however he usually keeps to himself as he is almost 16 years old and likes to eat, poop and sleep. We call Duke the combat referee because when Aries and Gus are playing he just follows along and barks at them. Duke is the boss and he wants everyone to know it. Aries follows Gus everywhere and Gus is teaching him the rules of the house. All we have to do is get Gus to do something and Aries mimicks him perfectly. I have attached a picture of the two of them after a day of playing. I will follow up at a later date. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to adopt such wonderful pets.
