Jingles

Hi - she is doing well and adjusting easily. She gets along well with Nugget and the dogs at my son's home. She seemed to want to ride on my lap on the way home and was content doing so. We gated her in the kitchen with Nugget overnight and she whined a little at first, and then was quiet the rest of the evening. Had a little accident on the floor overnight but went right out this morning and went to the bathroom. She loves to be held and is a true lap dog. We really have fallen in love with her. Going to pick up her license tomorrow.

Petey

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to thank you for letting me adopt Petey (left). He could not have come into my life at a more perfect time. As you all know, my husband passed away on 5/2, and Petey has been giving me all the love and support that I need to get through this very difficult time for me. It is just amazing how he knows when I am feeling down and missing him, and feel that life has been so unfair to me. He gets those little legs running and getting a running start to jump up on our king size bed to give me lots of licks and snuggles under the covers with me to keep me warm and make me feel safe.
Katie has become quite the big sister. Petey was so nervous and under developed when he came to me. However, Katie quickly showed him how to be cute to get extra treats, where we all sit down for dinner, and best of all.....she taught him how to play fetch. I don’t think Petey even knew what a toy was when I got him, however, he now waits for the UPS man and when he sees the big box of toys coming on to the porch, he wags his tail so fast that sometimes it knocks him over.
I just want to thank everyone from Haven to Home. Although the void in my heart for my husband can never be truly filled, Petey and Katie have definitely made life worth living again. Thank you for allowing me to get so much love from these 2 wonderful members of my home.
I love you all for giving me back my life!
Sincerely,
Lori

Rex A. Roo
Rex A. Roo

This is Kristin, Rex A. Roo's mommy. I just wanted to say thank you you for helping us get Rex into our lives. He is doing really well and is awesome with other dogs. We are still working on him around people but he has come a long way in the past few weeks. He loves to kiss and please us and is coming along well with potty training. I can not believe someone else would want to give up this bundle of love but I am glad they did so we can have him in our life. I will keep you posted on how he is doing. Thanks again!!
