Cali needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Cali is a beautiful St. Bernard waiting for her forever home. She has been absolutely wonderful with people of all ages. She is truly a gentle giant with the humans. Her tail wags with every person she meets and she doesn't think twice about using a stranger as a leaning post. Cali walks nicely on a leash, although she prefers to not walk when it is too warm outside. She can be a bit stubborn and will plant herself on the ground if she doesn't want to do something. When she came to us she weighed less than 90lbs, but after several weeks of TLC she is gaining weight and is now at 111lbs. She only has about 20lbs to go to she reaches a good weight. Her age is estimated to be between 3 and 4 years old. When Cali initially came to us and was in our kennel holding facility, we were thinking that she may not be good with other dogs. But she has been in 2 foster homes and did well with the big male dogs there. She is house trained, crate trained (although she is not regular crated in her foster home), and LOVES to wade and swim. She is a wet mouth saint. Cali (and all cats) would do best if her forever home did not have any feline friends.
