Many times dogs are rescued by Haven to Home that need a little extra TLC. They suffer from a chronic illness or may have been badly abused or neglected. These dogs need extra help with medical attention or rehabilitation with a trainer before they become adoptable pets. Haven to Home does not turn these dogs away but we do need the help from our friends and the community to keep these dogs in comfortable, loving foster homes for as long as it takes for them to recover. The majority of Haven to Home's costs are vet bills including surgery for spay/neuter and other procedures. The dogs we rescue usually need all vaccines, basic testing, and neutering. We also put our dogs on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Please consider chipping in to help the dogs in need through Sponsorship. There are dogs that are specifically in need of a Sponsor but you may certainly sponsor any of them.
