Mouse

Hi everyone!!!! I wanted send a picture and update of Mouse (and his partner in crime Scrappy). He is doing wonderful and loves to play with everyone. Although he is a champion chewer he managed 18 holes in a quilt in 1 hour and it took his G-ma 10 hours to repair it!!!!! Elizabeth loves to dress him and take him to super petz and show him off. Thank you for such a wonderful puppy!!! Susan

Maggie M

Hi Linda, We took a week's trip to South Bend, Indiana for the International Studebaker Meet. Maggie had never been in the motorhome so we took her for a ride to Muncy and back home again a couple of days before we left for Indiana. I was concerned she might become ill from riding so far to Indiana. I have slipcovers made from old sheets so dog hair wasn't a problem. Maggie was a champion! She spent most of the time laying on the couch and looking out the windows. The couch was Maggie's!! She slept there too. We didn't need to scold her at all for anything! She just loved being with us, and enjoyed the people making a big fuss over how cute she is at the Meet and the campgrounds. She didn't get sick at all. Maggie is one in a million! When Al comes home from work she is on a chain waiting for Daddy. She runs to him as soon as he gets out of the truck and reaches the sidewalk, puts her front paws on his shoulders and tucks her head under his chin. Her tail goes so fast and she wiggles all over. What a sight! During the day she is Mom's girl. She hears and sees everything. The neighbor's can't leave their driveway, get their newspaper or mail without her telling me! The neighbors across the road have a dog, and Maggie whimpers when she sees Jasper in their long driveway. Route 54 is so busy with all the tractor-trailers we can't take a chance letting her loose outside. Inside the house she is my constant companion! Can you tell we just love her!!? Oreo

8/2/2012:Erin wanted me to share the most recent picture of Jordie (AKA Oreo). It’s been just about 10 months since she has come into our home and we couldn’t be happier. Cameron and Jordie have become best friends who love to play inside and outside together. The picture is entitled “Reading to Jordie”. Thanks again for all you do.

10/30/11: Hi Roe,
Just wanted to thank you again for all of your help and to send you all an update on "Oreo" who now goes by "Jordie".  Jordie is doing very well and is a perfect fit for our family!  She loves spending her time being with our family and usually is playing with our daughter, curled up next to us on the floor, playing fetch with her squeaky toys, or snoozing on her pillow bed :)  She is sweet, gentle, well behaved and fun loving!  She loves to go for walks, play fetch in the yard, and has quickly become good friends with our neighboring Lab.  We are always saying how lucky we are to have found such a great dog who is the perfect fit for our family!  Everyone that meets Jordie comments on how she's such a sweetie and she never passes up the opportunity for a tummy rub!  Jordie is a fast learner and has picked up lots of new commands and tricks in a short amount of time!
Thank you again to you and everyone at Haven to Home for all that you do! The Karpinski Family

Princess Bea

Hi there! I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the cards from Manny and Bea (I cried), and to let you know that we're all thriving here. Attached are some pictures of my daughter and her fiance with the puggles--everyone is just in love with them. The day we brought them home, we let them loose in the (fenced-in) backyard and they ran around and around the perimeter shoulder to shoulder, faster and faster with each lap. They have a great time scouting and chasing squirrels and birds in the yard, and they love their walks around town and rides in the car. As I write, they are taking naps on their beds in the living room--their "beds" are my living room couches. They have good appetites, bubbly personalities, and they get along well with my dog Rosie. There isn't a moment when I regret adopting them. We all love them, and I hope they're happy with us (they appear to be). Thank you all for bring my family and Manny and Bea together. Laurie
