Carlton We wish to thank all of you who worked to place Carlton in our forever home. He is a wonderful and joyous addition to our family. Once again thank you so very much! The Mitchell family
Nero This Happy Tail is greatly overdue, as it’s been 3 years since my darling Douglas (Nero) became a treasured family member. I’m ashamed to admit that it certainly wasn’t love at first sight with this sweet boy… far from it in fact… but something about him pulled at my heartstrings and compelled me to give this wonderful gentleman a chance at happiness and “the good life”. I am so thankful that I did, as Douglas has filled my heart and home with so much love I’m forever grateful to H2H for bringing us together. Gretchen
Marty All,
I think we have turned the corner with Otto (Marty). Having the
Thanksgiving week with him was perhaps the ticket!
He is much more relaxed, seeking out attention, and obeying. I admit to
investing in an electronic collar, but it has allowed me to work with him
off leash which has been amazingly positive. His "freedom" has given both
of us confidence. He's understanding of boundaries and "runs" with the
other dogs, following their lead more and more. I still have concerns for
unexpected birds, squirrels and the like...that will be the test.
We spent thanksgiving at the cabin. There, he had great exercise
opportunities including off leash walks on the rails to trails and "practice
searches" through fields. His nose works OT outside! He is so fun to
watch.
Cheers,
Jack B Nimble Dear Haven to Home,
Jack has been with us for almost 5 months. He has stolen our hearts. I adopted him mainly for my husband in children, but somehow he adopted me. He is my shadow. Everyone he meets, he melts their hearts. When we go for walks people have stopped me just to talk to him. He is a favorite among cousins, aunts and uncles.
He has one bad habit that we just can't break. He loves to swipe things. It is worst when we don't give him full attention. We try to be careful, but somehow he just gets things. He loves to play and he dares us to chase him. His favorite game is fetch and run, just not return. We love to make him jump for his rope. He will do a rollover trick for a treat and sometimes just rolls and rolls. He is such a fun and happy dog!
We can't imagine him not in our lives now. He is part of this family and it was meant to be. Thank you so much for bringing us together.
The very very happy Kocher-Ross family,
Kelly, Tom, Tanner, Spencer and Jack
Milo Hi Robin,
Milo is doing great. He seems to love it here. My kids love him and have been taking him for walks. He loves to play outside in the backyard. He fits right in! He took a nap with my husband today- he's such a happy boy! I attached a picture of him for you.
Thank you!
Kelleen
