Henry

Hello Ladies, I wanted to share a 6 month Happy Tail about Henry. Feel free to edit as needed and I will send pictures after I am done: Well this guy has been with us for six months. I am not going to lie, it hasn't been an easy road. He was very
possessive of me for quite sometime and wouldn't let any of our friends in the house until he greeted them outside. Even then, we had our challenges. If anyone got too close to me, even my husband Dave, he would try to bite them. When Henry needed to go outside he would BOLT for the door like he was on fire. He was never willing to give up a toy or a bone without some kind of struggle, growl or anger. We are very happy to say he is definitely not the same dog!! He sits and waits patiently by the door until I "release" him to go, he loves to share his toys and bones with Ruger, his canine brother, and even shares them with us. When Dave and I get close to each other on the couch, Henry just looks at us and leaves us alone. He still doesn't like the Fed-Ex driver, even though he brings him treats, but then again, what dog does. Thank you very much for honor of adopting him and showing him that he can be treated lovingly and that he won't be shipped away again. In the end, I think that's what is was all about. He never trusted anyone since they were always sending him off to another family every couple of months. He finally realized he is stuck with us and I don't think he is complaining ( the ice cream cone picture) Honey and Dave

Bryce

My boyfriend and I want to extend an extra THANK YOU to Jess for matching us with Bryce! He is doing so well & very happy. We discovered he is quite the bird and water dog! He just LOVES swimming in this gorgeous weather. Well, again, thank you Haven to Home, you guys are wonderful!

Jim

Jim, now CJ, is growing into a handsome dog, at 50 pounds now!

Bruce

Here's ZAC (aka Bruce) getting ready for Memorial Day.

His owner Sue teaches him a new trick about every day.  He helps her dress in the morning by delivering her socks and shoes.  He's quite the dog!

Kingsley

Anna and Mark wanted to foster a younger dog to play with their active 11 year old son, Dominic, and to keep their senior dog, Caesar, company. They became fosters in early December and took in Kingsley, a boxer mix puppy. Within days they realized they were going to be foster failures, they were all in love with Kinsgley, now named Rico. They decided to adopt Rico but kept it a secret from Dominic until Christmas day! Now Rico enjoys playing with Dominic, running and sledding in the snow and chilling out with Caesar. They're all happy that they failed at fostering!
